<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong><br />Capital Financing:</p><ul><li>Identify opportunities for raising funds including specialized financing for business growth and expansion.</li><li>Evaluate external funding opportunities and advise management accordingly.</li><li>Liaise with banks, funding institutions, financial and legal advisors, accounting firms, Credit rating agencies etc on behalf of the Company for financial and advisory purposes.</li><li>Negotiate and structure financial details.</li></ul><p>Financial Planning:</p><ul><li>Examine financial data and provide actionable information on profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity for business decisions.</li><li>Provide inputs into the long term financial strategies, budgeting process, and strategic capital allocation.</li></ul><p>Financial Analyses and Modelling:</p><ul><li>Analyze past financial results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for business improvements.</li><li>Provide inputs into the long term financial strategies, budgeting process, and strategic capital allocation.</li><li>Develop financial models to support valuation, financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.</li><li>Conduct relevant financial analysis on the Group, compare with competition, and draw appropriate and compelling conclusions.</li><li>Lead or work as part of core team for cross-functional institutional projects.</li></ul><p>Capital Investment:</p><ul><li>Identify investment opportunities and advise management accordingly.</li><li>Monitor the Company&rsquo;s investments to ensure maximum yield and guard against loss of value.</li></ul><p>Risk Analysis:</p><ul><li>Assess and predict financial risks and returns. Advice on risks management strategies to protect the company from financial loss.</li></ul><p>Research:</p><ul><li>Conduct research to identify finance and growth opportunities in line with the company&rsquo;s financial objectives and growth strategies.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualification</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s Degree / HND in Accounting / Finance / Economics.</li><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in a relevant field is required.</li><li>Professional certification CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA.</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>15+ years of business finance or other relevant experience.</li><li>Experience in equity, hybrid or investment portfolio at a Corporation, Accounting, or Investor Relations firm is required.</li><li>Experience in mergers and acquisitions.</li></ul><p>Training / Skills Required:</p><ul><li>Excellent Financial Modelling skills.</li><li>Have strong presentation skills</li><li>Be resourceful, a self-starter and willing to work independently.</li><li>Experience at board level.</li><li>Management and leadership abilities.</li></ul>
