Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management:Manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion.Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies.Design and Development:Prepare and review engineering designs, specifications, and estimates.Conduct site investigations and surveys to inform design decisions.Construction Supervision:Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with designs, specifications, and safety standards.Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.Quality Control:Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices.Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor quality.Collaboration:Work with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in Nigeria.Professional certification (COREN, NSE) preferred.Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, Nigerian building codes, and industry standards.Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project).Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.Working Conditions:Work in a fast-paced construction environment.Frequent site visits and travel to project locations.Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
