HIRING – Trainers/Facilitators (Startup International NGO)

Location: Abuja

Work Schedule: Hybrid

About Company: Our client is a foremost non-governmental organization that is committed to the development of leadership capabilities and national development in Africa.

Job Objective: The client is seeking for a highly organized and personable Trainers/Facilitators to join their team. The ideal candidates will design and deliver high-quality training programs, facilitating learning and capacity building for stakeholders, partners, and community members, aligned with the organization’s mission and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs aligned with the organization’s objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Develop training materials, manuals, and evaluation tools.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Foster collaborative learning environments.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in a Management Science, Education, Organizational Psychology or in any related field.
  • 7+ years Cognate experience as a Leadership trainer/facilitator is desired.
  • Relevant certification in Leadership training and development programs.
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Software (LMS).
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Knowledge of traditional and modern training principles ▪ Strong leadership skill.
  • Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate people.
  • Strong understanding of training processes, benefits, and more.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to travel extensively.
