Viewer Experience AdvocateStart Date: Monday, June 30, 2025Pay Range: $17.75/hrContract Length: 90 day contract to hireWorksite Location: Remote (Must live within 45 miles of San Antonio and be able to pick up equipment on day one)Training Information:Phase 1 – Classroom Style Training (Remote) – Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm for the first 3-4 weeks.Phase 2 – On the Job Style Training (Remote) – Mon-Fri 12pm-9pm for an additional 8-10 weeks.Schedule Requirements: Open availability required Mon-Sun 6am-11pm.You will work either 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week within this range.Schedules will be assigned and will not have the chance to change until conversion to Full Time Employee.Flexibility for the full schedule range is required to be considered for this role.Schedules will include weekends and holidays due to the on-demand nature of the streaming services.Job Summary:As a Viewer Experience Advocate joining our dynamic Viewer Experience team, you will be at the forefront of our viewer interactions, playing a vital role in enhancing our brand image. Your technical expertise will be of utmost importance as you skillfully address viewer needs, passionately recommend suitable products, and fearlessly embrace new challenges.In this role, your understanding of network functionality and familiarity with common streaming devices will be instrumental in providing unparalleled support to our viewers. You will be their go-to person for resolving technical queries and ensuring a seamless streaming experience.At the heart of this opportunity lies the chance to showcase your unwavering commitment to superior customer service. Your dedication will be the driving force behind our viewers' satisfaction and loyalty.Job Duties:Provide assistance to viewers via phone and/or chat regarding account management, billing queries, content questions, and basic navigation of our site and applications.Make Streaming product recommendations on each viewer interaction.Other duties as assigned.Company Information:Our client is a global entertainment powerhouse that creates world-class stories, experiences, and products across theme parks, streaming services, film studios, consumer products, and more.Qualifications:A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in customer service.Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Docs.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent typing, phone, and computer navigation skills.High standards of written communication, including proper punctuation, grammar, and spelling in both English and Spanish.Good comprehension and documentation skills.The ability to navigate the Internet, email, and Instant Messenger tools.Familiarity with digital streaming services and devices.A positive, adaptive attitude, ready to switch gears to meet the needs of our viewers and team.Effective and professional communication skills.Robust time management skills to ensure productivity aligns with department standards.A sense of accountability, taking ownership of issues from start to finish.Willingness to work 365 days a year (including holidays) with 24-hour support availability.Dependable access to transportation.Remote Work Expectations:All VXAs work fully remote. To convert to a full-time employee and work fully remote, you must demonstrate your home workspace meets the following minimum criteria:A dedicated home workspace that’s quiet and free from distractions (not a shared space)The ability to connect your work equipment directly to your home internet modem via ethernet connection (WiFi connection does not meet minimum requirements for fully remote work)Home network internet speeds of at least 50 Mbps download / 25 Mbps uploadReside within 45 miles of our San Antonio office with reliable transportation to come onsite as needed for equipment troubleshooting or performance-related support.
