Full Job Description
JOB OBJECTIVE(S)The Business Development Executive is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient management of marketing activities and development opportunities for the company and to create value for the company, through the attainment of sales targets.Develop and foster good relationship between the company and its various external stakeholders in order to create a conducive atmosphere for company to operate.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business and achieving/assisting in the achievement of opportunity-based market shares.Conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, webinar and in person.Actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based on his/her interactions with prospects.Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions.Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients.Prepare and submit proposals in acceptable formats, quality and timely.Provide BD function support as may be required and instructed across the business entities within Amazon Energy Group.Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.Create and deliver qualified opportunities to other team members.Maintain and expand the company’s database of project opportunities.Ensure follow up by passing leads to appropriate team members with calls to action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etcEducationBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical from a reputable University.Experience and SkillsMinimum of 5-7 year’s cognate experience in business development and client management, preferably in the Oil and Gas/Power/Energy sector.Knowledge of the Nigerian Oil & Gas and Power industry including but not limited to the regulatory agencies.Ability to formulate Sales and Marketing Strategy.Ability to draft Bids, Tender and Proposals.Organizational and planning skillsProblem solving, analytical and negotiation skillsExcellent interpersonal and relationship building skillsExcellent reports writing and presentation skillsPositive attitude and energetic drivePreferable Male
