The successful candidate will process, inspect, cleanse, transform, and model data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making.This individual plays a role in making decisions more scientific and helping businesses operate more effectively.Job ResponsibilitiesInterpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reportsDevelop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsIdentify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsWork with management to prioritize business and information needsLocate and define new process improvement opportunitiesPerform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead, Data AnalyticsQualificationsMinimum of 3 years working experience as a data analyst or business data analystTechnical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniquesStrong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyAdept at queries, report writing and presenting findingsAbility to learn and dedication to service deliveryProficiency in office automation tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, etc)Proficiency in SQLMust have skills:Oral & Written communication skillsTeam building / conflict managementAnalytical Skills/ Problem solvingInterpersonal SkillsGeneral managerial/ administrationGood to have skills:Self-Management.Salary BudgetN1,800,000m - N3,000,000m / Annum.BenefitsCompetitive Salary: We know competitive pay is essential.
