HVN is seeking ambitious, personable, and detail-oriented individuals to join us as Travel Operations Specialists in our mission to help everyone find their haven. Responsibilities
At HVN, client experience is at the heart of everything we do. As a key part of our team, you’ll be on the frontlines of delivering joy to travelers throughout their journey – from helping them secure their perfect haven to coordinating seamless guest arrivals and experiences during their stay. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for:
- Confirming reservations and guiding clients through their personalized post-booking journey
- Curating, recommending, and booking in-home services and local experiences to deliver elevated one-of-a-kind stays
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with property managers & service providers
- Facilitating clients’ requests with high-quality, personable, and well-informed support through phone, email, and chat in a considerate and timely manner
- Providing support as needed for live reservations, coordinating with clients and suppliers to find positive resolutions to any situations that arise in a reassuring and professional manner
- Working with the finance and accounting team to accurately record reservation related costs and ensure timely and organized tracking of payments
- Maintaining and validating reservation, client, and supplier-related data, ensuring HVN records and internal notes are kept up-to-date
- Sharing insights from live experiences to support the continuous improvement and development of HVN’s supplier and client database and understanding of standard procedures and practices
- Upholding our culture of kindness and our commitment to excellence with every interaction
In addition to your daily responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to engage in broader product and business development initiatives:
- Providing insights on user experience and feature design
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities to better service client and property manager needs
- Sharing feedback on the quality of property listings and identifying, reproducing, and documenting bugs
- Spotting patterns in client requests and surfacing these insights to the rest of the team
Requirements
Great candidates will demonstrate an exceptional attention to detail, a strong handle on modern technology systems and professional customer service skills. You must be highly personable, friendly, organized, and articulate with strong written and verbal English communication skills. Prior experience in hospitality, travel planning, reservation fulfillment, and other languages is a plus. A willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced startup environment is imperative. While HVN is a remote-first environment, please note that we will only consider candidates authorized to work in the U.S. for this role.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
