<p><strong> JOB SUMMARY: </strong></p><ul><li> THE CNG/LPG TECHNICIAN would be responsible for the Installation, Servicing, and Maintenance of CNG Generators, CNG and LPG Fuel Systems and associated components. This role ensures the safety, compliance, and functionality of alternative fuel systems in Generators, Vehicles and Auto-Gas Stations, helping to promote sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation.</li></ul><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Install CNG and LPG Fuel Systems in various vehicles, including Generators, Automobiles, Trucks, and Buses.</li><li>Retrofit existing Vehicles with CNG/LPG systems, ensuring proper conversion and adherence to safety standards.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNG and LPG systems, including inspections, adjustments, and component replacements.</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, addressing issues related to Gas delivery, safety valves, regulators, and related components.</li><li>Conduct emergency repairs and provide technical support to address breakdowns promptly.</li><li>Ensure all CNG/LPG systems meet safety regulations and industry standards.</li><li>Conduct leak testing, pressure tests, and safety inspections to verify compliance.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.</li><li>Generate reports on system status, maintenance schedules, and repair activities.</li><li>Provide technical support and guidance to customers, including vehicle operators and fleet managers.</li><li>Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions.</li><li>Manage inventory of CNG/LPG components, spare parts, and tools.</li><li>Reorder supplies as necessary to minimize downtime during maintenance and repairs.</li><li>Assist in training vehicle operators and technicians on the safe operation and maintenance of CNG/LPG systems.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS: </strong></p><ul><li>BSc or HND is Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.</li><li>Proven experience as a CNG/LPG Technician or similar role in the alternative fuel industry.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of CNG and LPG systems, Generators, including Tanks, Fuel Lines, Regulators, and Safety mechanisms.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.</li><li>Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols for working with CNG/LPG.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Strong communication abilities and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.</li></ul>
