Job Objective:The Financial Director shall plan, direct, and coordinate accounting, investing, securities, return on investment and other financial activities for the Company.Key Responsibilities:Develop and monitor the budget for the CompanyTrack and monitor expenses during the planning and execution phases of the Company's capital projectsLiaise with relevant stakeholders to understand financial challenges and propose possible solutionsDevelop a financial model for capital recoveryContribute to the strategic execution of the Company’s capital projectsOversee the flow of cash or financial instrumentsEvaluate data pertaining to costs to plan budgetsPrepare financial or regulatory reports required by laws, regulations, or boards of directorsPrepare operational or risk reports for management analysis.Job SpecificationQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.Experience:Professional experience in the finance or accounting field, preferably within the public sector.Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.Proven experience in budgeting and financial planning.Proven experience in corporate financeSkills:Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to convey complex issues in a simple and compelling manner.Ability to identify and assess risks that could impact the company's ability to meet its financial goalsProficiency in popular accounting softwarePersonal Attributes:Strong initiative, creativity, and a solutions-oriented mindset.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities effectively.Strong attention to detail and an ability to maintain high standards of quality.A passion for public service and a commitment to transparency.
