Job Title: Business Development Officer/Digital marketer (remote)

Job Summary: Our client a software development company is seeking to hire a business development officer who is also a digital marketer with deep knowledge of Social media marketing, copywriting and experience marketing software products for a tech start-up. The candidate will be responsible for selling out software products/ services, drafting business proposals and increasing the financial growth of the organization by identifying potential clients and bringing business deals.

Responsibilities:

· Identify and research potential clients to purchase software products and services.

· Close business deals on software products and services

· Develop and maintain client relationships

· Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals

· Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders

· Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed

· Gather useful information from customer and competitor data

· Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives

· Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business

· Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline

· Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business

· Track and report on the status of proposal components

· Conduct ongoing market research

· Drive the end-to-end sales process

· Prepare and submit sales contracts

· Answer technical questions from customers about the company’s software products/services

· Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals

· Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads).

· Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve online visibility.

· Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI.

· Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)

· Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics

· Communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly, and monitor customer reviews

· Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout)

· Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions

· Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications

· Collaborate with design teams to create visually appealing and shareable multimedia content

· Foster community engagement through online forums, groups, and social media communities.

Qualification:

· BSc/Hnd in Marketing, computer science, Business Administration or equivalent

· At least 3 years of experience in business development and social media marketing of software products/services.

· 2 years experience in marketing tech product for a tech start-up firm.

· Deep knowledge of marketing software products and social media marketing is a MUST.

· Ability to write a sales pitch and also copywriting skills is necessary.

· Strong communication and presentation skills

· Experience in Seo and ads campaign etc.

· Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

· Must be able to write and speak good English.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

· Experience managing budgets and reviewing financial statements

· Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.

Salary: N300,000
