Your core responsibilities

  • Makes outbound phone, email, and other to an assigned number of prospects daily
  • Tracks recruitment activity real-time in approved tracking system to include dates, demographics, decision maker, service and jurisdictional information as appropriate
  • Creates short and long-term contracting strategy for the development and improvement of MTI America’s provider panel
  • Identifies prospects within assigned territories
  • Identifies and ensures contractual materials are adequate and submits to decision maker
  • Develops alternatives, strategies and plans of action to facilitate network expansion
  • Works independently and as part of a team in support of contract negotiations, renegotiations, contract preparation, provider relations and recruitment
  • Reduces cost of goods sold through identification and qualification of providers in assigned territory and introduces the value created by MTI with each provider prospect
  • Ensures quality components of service delivery and patient/carrier satisfaction with services provided.
  • Establishes relationships with providers and prepares handoff to Provider Network Development team.
  • Participates in process for continuous credentialing and quality monitoring of assigned accounts.
  • Monitors reimbursement documents and contract addenda to ensure vendor understanding and actions lead to Active contract status, in a timely fashion.
  • Works with team to identify prospects and margin opportunities by performing analysis of out of network utilization and using data to identify network development opportunities.
  • Strategically recruits new vendors based on feedback from internal and external customers.
  • Works closely with Internal Audit and Compliance (IAC) department to ensure vendor compliance with contracts as well as MTI America’s billing and other protocols.
  • Identifies potential vendors for recruitment into the MTI America’s network
  • Identifies white space and targets vendors in those areas for inclusion in the MTI America’s Management network.
  • Manages contract process including distributing and receiving contracts.

Skills and Expertise

  • Strong understanding of medical lead development and prospecting.
  • Good understanding of ancillary products and services.
  • 3+ years’ experience in specialty network development in healthcare required; workers’ compensation preferred.
  • Knowledge of contract principles.
  • Excellent verbal, negotiation and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g. executive, management, individual contributors) and externally.
  • Excellent problem solving, team and time management skills managing multiple deadlines for self and others.
  • Proficiency to operate independently on work that is often confidential in nature.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or in related field administration required College degree preferred or a combination of education and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Experience:

  • radiology networking: 3 years (Preferred)
