Job Description:
- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Support inventory management, including conducting stock checks and ordering supplies.
- Help maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
- Participate in patient counseling and education on medication use, side effects, and storage.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and handling phone inquiries.
- Learn and comply with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in daily operations and special projects.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance pharmacy knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a pharmacy program (Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy).
- No prior experience is required, but a strong willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medication use.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn pharmacy software systems.
