About the jobThe Student Recruitment and Admissions Officer is responsible for attracting prospective students and guiding them through the admissions process.This role involves engaging with potential students, providing detailed information on study programs, and managing the application and admission procedures.The goal is to achieve enrollment targets while ensuring a positive student experience.ResponsibilitiesStudent Recruitment:Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract students to study abroad programs.Attend school visits, education fairs, and promotional events to represent the company and engage prospective students.Provide presentations and information sessions to students, parents, and schools to promote study programs and services.Build relationships with students and parents, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the decision-making process.Admissions Counseling:Provide personalized counseling to prospective students on suitable study programs, universities, and application procedures.Guide students through the admissions process, including requirements, timelines, and documentation.Assist students in selecting courses and programs that best fit their academic background and career aspirations.Application Management:Assist students in completing their applications, ensuring that all required documents are submitted accurately and on time.Review and verify submitted documents, ensuring compliance with university and visa requirements.Coordinate with partner institutions to facilitate a smooth admission process for students.Lead Generation and Follow-up:Generate and follow up on leads obtained from events, referrals, and online inquiries.Maintain timely communication with prospective students, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and encouraging enrollment.Track leads and manage them through the admissions pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement.Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain detailed records of student inquiries, counselling sessions, applications, and admissions statuses in the CRM system.Prepare reports on student recruitment activities, enrollment numbers, and feedback for management.Keep accurate documentation of all applications, communications, and progress with students.Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing student and parent inquiries, complaints, and concerns.Offer support to students during the visa application, travel arrangements, and pre-departure process.Maintain a positive relationship with students and parents throughout the recruitment and admissions journey.Collaboration:Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns that drive student inquiries and increase engagement.Work with partner universities and colleges to ensure that students are provided with accurate program and admissions information.Liaise with the visa and travel team to ensure students are fully prepared for travel and university life.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or a similar role in the education sector.Experience working with CRM systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Knowledge of international study destinations and programs is a plus.
