Job Summary:
The role of a Pipeline Technician is crucial in the Oil & Gas industry, where efficient and safe transport of commodities such as oil, gas, and chemicals is essential. This position is predominantly responsible for the operation and maintenance of pipeline systems, ensuring that the flow of materials is consistent and meets the required safety and quality standards. Pipeline Technicians monitor the condition of the pipeline, carry out scheduled maintenance, and respond to emergencies, making them key players in the operational efficiency of industry-specific logistics.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment for pipeline construction and repair.
- Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance on oil and gas pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and repair distributed control systems and programmable logic controllers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety and efficiency on-site.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to execute heavy lifting and construction tasks effectively.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards during operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
