<p><strong>Role Overview:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>The Business Development Officer will play a key role in expanding the school&rsquo;s visibility and establishing strategic partnerships.</li><li>This role requires someone proactive and outgoing, who can visit high-end offices, attend events, and build relationships with key stakeholders and target audiences.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Visit high-end offices weekly/monthly to introduce Charterhouse Lagos and build new relationships.</li><li>Establish new partnerships to support growth and strategic goals.</li><li>Expand the school&rsquo;s contact database with relevant contacts from industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities.</li><li>Participate in a specified number of events each month to strengthen the school&rsquo;s network and brand presence.</li><li>Secure sponsorships by identifying and engaging potential sponsors that align with the school&rsquo;s goals.</li><li>Develop and submit partnership proposals to potential partners to foster relationships.</li><li>Organise and attend partnership meetings to explore and develop collaborative opportunities.</li><li>Conduct and deliver comprehensive market research reports to guide business strategies and opportunities.</li><li>Distribute promotional materials, such as flyers and brochures, at strategically identified high-traffic locations to enhance brand visibility.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.</li><li>3-5 years of experience in business development, field sales, outreach, preferably in an educational setting.</li><li>Experience in the education sector or familiarity with private school operations.</li><li>Ability to network effectively and identify strategic partnership opportunities.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li><li>Strong organisational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and take initiative.</li></ul><p><strong>Personal Traits:</strong></p><ul><li>Self-motivated and goal oriented.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.</li><li>Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and identify new opportunities.</li><li>Team player with a collaborative attitude.</li></ul>
