Key Responsibilities:Event Planning and Management:Develop, plan, and execute events, including conferences, trade shows, product launches, and internal gatherings, across local and regional markets.Manage all aspects of event logistics, including budgeting, vendor negotiations, venue selection, and attendee coordination.Ensure events meet organizational standards and create positive brand impressions.Oversee event registration, on-site management, and post-event evaluation to identify areas for improvement.Marketing Coordination:Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns that support event goals.Develop promotional materials, manage social media campaigns, and coordinate email marketing efforts.Ensure brand consistency across all event-related marketing materials.Analyze the effectiveness of marketing strategies and provide data-driven recommendations.Regional Focus:Tailor events and marketing strategies to suit local and regional preferences across West Africa.Maintain a deep understanding of cultural, market, and regulatory nuances in the region.Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners, vendors, and stakeholders.Project Management:Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.Maintain detailed project plans and provide regular updates to stakeholders.Work cross-functionally to ensure all departments are aligned and supportive of event objectives.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in event planning and marketing, preferably in a regional capacity.Strong understanding of event logistics and marketing principles.Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in event management tools and marketing software.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required.
