Job DescriptionThe Chief Security Officer is important to the attainment of the goals of security of lives and properties at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.He/She will be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day to day security of the University and management of the security unit.He/she must have appreciable knowledge of surveillance and drone operations and must also be confident and proactive.QualificationThe candidate must possess a good Honour's Degree not below Second Class Lower Division.A specialty in Psychology or Criminology may be an added advantage, with 15 years cognate experience in security related jobs, four of which must have been as Ex-Superior Police Officer, not below the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police or its equivalent from the Armed Forces.Salary GradeCONTISS 15Condition of ServiceThe successful candidates shall hold office for a single term of five (5) years only on such terms and conditions applicable to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State and as may be determined by the appropriate University Rules and the University Governing Council.
