<p>A reputable Insurance and Reinsurance Broking firm, a major player in the Nigerian Insurance Industry with proven track record of excellence for over four decades, seeks to hire a senior executive with the expertise to drive technical operations in a dynamic and innovative environment.</p><p>The successful candidate will be a professional with exceptional technical acumen and leadership capabilities to oversee our technical operations and contribute to our continued growth and success.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Technical Operations Management:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and manage the technical operations team, ensuring policy documents accuracy, the efficient handling of insurance and reinsurance placements.</li><li>Oversee underwriting, claims processing, and risk assessment functions.</li></ul><p><strong>Business Development:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop strategies to grow revenue by building strong client relationships and expanding the company&rsquo;s portfolio.</li><li>Own and hit/exceed sales targets</li></ul><p><strong>Regulatory Compliance:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure all technical operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, policies, and regulations.</li></ul><p><strong>Reporting:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual technical reports.</li></ul><p><strong>Team Leadership and Development:</strong></p><ul><li>Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.</li><li>Implement training programs to enhance team expertise and efficiency.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>BA/BSc/HND;&nbsp;A Master&rsquo;s degree is an advantage.</li><li>Associate Member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria ACIIN or Chartered Insurance Institute, UK;</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior technical or managerial role;</li><li>Strong problem-solving, and decision-making skills;</li><li>Proven ability to manage technical operations and lead diverse teams;</li><li>Must have an all-round commercial awareness of the business and analytical approach to underwriting;</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills;</li><li>Good use of Microsoft office suite Excel, Word and PowerPoint.&nbsp;</li></ul>
