<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><ul><li>The Business Development Manager will lead the growth and market entry strategy for a care home in Abuja.</li><li>This role involves developing and executing business strategies, identifying growth opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth.</li><li>candidate will be instrumental in positioning the care home as a trusted provider of quality care services while ensuring sustainable business growth.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br />Market Research &amp; Analysis:</p><ul><li>Conduct thorough market research to identify growth opportunities and trends in the care home and elderly care sector in the new country.</li><li>Analyze local regulations, competition, and consumer needs to ensure the care home&rsquo;s offerings align with market demand.</li><li>Develop a strategic plan for market entry and expansion.</li></ul><p>Business Strategy &amp; Planning:</p><ul><li>Develop and implement business development strategies to ensure successful market penetration and long-term growth.</li><li>Work with senior management to set financial goals, KPIs, and timelines for scaling operations.</li><li>Identify potential business partners, investors, or joint ventures that could support the start-up&rsquo;s expansion goals.</li></ul><p>Sales &amp; Marketing:</p><ul><li>Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, government agencies, and potential clients.</li><li>Develop a marketing and sales strategy to promote the care home&rsquo;s services to the target audience.</li><li>Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that raise brand awareness and attract clients.</li><li>Lead negotiations and close deals with key partners, such as hospitals, insurance providers, and corporate clients.</li></ul><p>Partnership Development:</p><ul><li>Identify and pursue partnership opportunities that will enhance the care home&rsquo;s visibility and market share.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare organizations, government agencies, and community groups to build a strong referral network.</li><li>Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the care home and build strategic connections.</li></ul><p>Financial Management &amp; Reporting:</p><ul><li>Assist in developing the business budget, ensuring that the business development activities are aligned with financial goals.</li><li>Monitor the financial performance of the care home in terms of revenue growth, profitability, and ROI.</li><li>Provide regular reports on business development activities, market conditions, and financial forecasts to the senior management team.</li></ul><p>Regulatory Compliance:</p><ul><li>Ensure that the care home complies with all local and international laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.</li><li>Stay updated on changes in healthcare policies and regulations that may impact the care home&rsquo;s operations.</li></ul><p>Team Leadership &amp; Collaboration:</p><ul><li>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of business development goals with operational capabilities.</li><li>Provide guidance and support to junior staff involved in business development and marketing efforts.</li><li>Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
