Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular and consistent communication with admitted students, financial sponsors so as to ensure expedited review and processing of I20
  • Provide prospective international students with the guidance needed to start at Monroe (e.g. I20 requirements, visa application process, change of status, SEVIS transfer, etc.)
  • Facilitate informational webinars, inclusive of planning and participating in orientation and enrollment guidance sessions
  • Provide support and guidance related to F-1 students in the program, including SEVIS registration, program adjustments and all duties relevant to maintain students records in SEVIS
  • Maintain student SEVIS files and records including documenting student information within the University's internal database
  • Partner strategically with other departments to facilitate and process time-sensitive student requests and documentation

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a culturally diverse student body
  • Displays self-confidence, patience, empathy, and availability while connecting with students
  • Responsive and able to work in a fast-paced environment with continual telephone, email or in-person communication with students
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving ability; solution focused approach
  • Knowledge of SEVP regulations and ability to navigate SEVIS competently.

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· DSO experience, preferred

· Knowledge of CRM systems, a plus

· Strong written and oral communication skills

· Detail-oriented

· Ability to work independently and in a team

· Efficiency and accuracy in work

Must be a LPR or citizen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
