We are currently looking for an Intake Department Receptionist. The Intake Department handles all calls that come into the company for potential clients - from families that are looking for services to Doctor’s & insurance companies calling in to refer patients. We walk families through the process and we assist them with the paperwork associated with starting treatment with us.
Responsibilities:
- Answering a high volume of calls in a timely and professional manner
- Responsible for maintaining a lot of notes and ensuring their accuracy
- Acts as a backup for absent team members in the department
- Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, emailing.
- Assist other Intake Department staff when needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel (V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years of Reception/Front Desk or Call Center experience
- Fluent in Spanish preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and work efficiently against deadlines, as well as prioritizing multiple assignments at a time
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving and judgment capabilities
- Basic understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to successfully pass a background and reference check
