Job Title: Academy Coordinator - OISA

About Us: OISA (Onwubiko International Soccer Academy) is dedicated to developing young soccer talent in Nigeria. We combine a strong academic curriculum with intensive soccer skill training to prepare our players for successful careers, including opportunities to play for top European teams.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Academy Coordinator to lead our efforts in Nigeria. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing the academic curriculum, overseeing soccer skill development, and promoting our players to professional soccer clubs or to Universities. The ideal candidate is passionate about soccer, has experience in player development, and possesses strong marketing and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Coordination: Develop and manage an academic curriculum that complements players' training schedules, ensuring a balanced focus on education and athletic development.

Soccer Skill Development: Work closely with coaching staff to design and implement training programs that enhance players’ skills, teamwork, and tactical understanding.

Player Marketing: Identify and pursue opportunities to showcase academy players to European teams and scouts. Build relationships with international clubs and agents to promote player placements.

Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the academy, including coordinating schedules, maintaining facilities, and ensuring a safe and productive environment.

Talent Identification: Collaborate with local and international scouts to identify and recruit promising talent to the academy.

Community Engagement: Represent the academy at local events, liaise with parents, and engage with the community to promote our mission.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Education, Marketing, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sports management, soccer coaching, or player marketing. Strong understanding of soccer skill development and player progression. Proven track record in player marketing and placements, especially in European clubs. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Willingness to relocate to Nigeria and adapt to the local culture and environment.
