<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><ul><li>The Loan Collector is responsible for recovering outstanding debts from individuals or businesses, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal guidelines.</li><li>The role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and persistence to achieve collection targets while preserving customer relationships.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br />Debt Collection:</p><ul><li>Contact customers via phone, email, or in-person to discuss overdue accounts.</li><li>Negotiate repayment plans that align with company policies and customer circumstances.</li><li>Ensure timely follow-up with customers to monitor repayment progress.</li></ul><p>Record Management:</p><ul><li>Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, agreements, and payments in the company database.</li><li>Generate reports on collection activities and outstanding accounts for management review.</li></ul><p>Customer Engagement:</p><ul><li>Handle customer inquiries regarding overdue accounts in a professional and empathetic manner.</li><li>Provide advice on financial planning or repayment solutions when appropriate.</li></ul><p>Compliance and Legal:</p><ul><li>Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements related to debt collection.</li><li>Collaborate with the legal team for escalated cases involving legal proceedings.</li></ul><p>Team Collaboration:</p><ul><li>Work with other departments, such as finance and customer service, to resolve disputes or billing errors.</li><li>Participate in team meetings to share insights and improve collection strategies.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
