Target pay range:

$19 - $25/hour OR

$26-$35/hour with certifications (Air-Cooled, Liquid-Cooled)

Generators of Houston/GenRG is looking for strong technicians to join their team with skill sets ranging through Certified Level I, II, III Technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Service/repair generators, change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, check spark plugs, etc.
• Perform on-site planned maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting for customers generators (including DC & AC voltage equipment)
• Work independently or with a small team with a work vehicle serving residential and commercial standby generators.

Qualifications:

• Maintenance & repair, troubleshooting and field service skills, specifically with generators
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Experience in generator maintenance and servicing
• Knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to report materials used to the admin team for job costing
• Generator certification or technical degree in relevant field preferred
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. frequently
• Valid driver’s license
