We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team, a leading crypto trading company.The primary function of this role will be to confirm and verify cryptocurrency transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and a keen interest in the cryptocurrency market.Key Responsibilities:Transaction Verification: Review and confirm cryptocurrency transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.Data Entry: Accurately enter transaction details into accounting systems and maintain organized financial records.Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling transaction records with blockchain data and internal financial systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on transaction activity, providing insights to senior accountants and management.Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding transaction processes.Compliance Monitoring: Stay updated on accounting regulations and compliance requirements relevant to cryptocurrency transactions.Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations and compliance, to ensure cohesive transaction processes.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.Basic understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and analytical skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
