Full Job Description

Job Scope:

  • Assist with environmental permitting during the design and construction of LNG export plants and associated pipeline facilities.
  • Responsible for preparing permit applications to federal, state, and local agencies, coordinating with the same agencies during application review, and developing programs to ensure compliance during construction.
  • Provide project-specific support and help develop corporate environmental program and initiatives.
  • The need to travel to project sites in Louisiana is anticipated to be minimal.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide the environmental lead for coordination of engineering, right-of-way, and public affairs to develop applications and obtain the environmental approvals necessary to support timely project construction
  • Develop and implement systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations
  • Manage environmental data and associated databases
  • Oversee compliance with environmental permits, legislation, and Company Standards
  • Effectively engage with government regulators during permit acquisition
  • Review construction progress and monitor environmental impacts and compliance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related discipline; alternatively, commensurate work experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in the oil and gas sector's federal and state environmental permitting. Louisiana permitting experience would be preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team, with demonstrable strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to evaluate and clearly communicate both verbal and written technical information
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other applications as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
