Summary:

Technician will perform Neurodiagnostic (ND) procedures under general supervision, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. Prepares patients for and conducts both routine and specialized ND procedures in the in the modality of Electroencephalography (EEG). Obtains data for use in the clinical diagnosis of disorders of the nervous system. Assists in the technical training of others, and precept students/trainees as required. Performs new or related ND procedures and serves as the technical subject matter expert in performance of EEG testing. As necessary, perform EKG testing.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of EEG experience or Associates degree in an Allied Health field and 1 year of EEG experience or Graduate of a CAAHEP ND program or ASET EEG Core Certification.

2. Obtain Basic Life Support Certification within 30 days of hire

3. Obtain R.EEG.T within 2 years of hire into a Neurodiagnostic Tech role
