Job DescriptionOur client requires the aervices of a Laundry Attendant with a maximum of 3 years experience. Candidates who possess SSCE or OND will be better suitable for this job.Persons living around OGBA or other areas close to OGBA in Lagos will be better prefered due to the high cost of transportationResponsibilitiesSorts all linen and separates and treats all stains.Loads laundry into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents.Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them into dryers for measured time cycles.Sorts dried articles according to type.Folds and places items in appropriate locations for storage.Handles contaminated articles per Hote franchise and standards.Arrive to work on time and in proper uniformOrganize and maintain laundry operations on a daily basis to meet demand in a timely mannerMaintain daily and weekly records of clothingWash, dry and fold all linen using best standard practicesprocesses-stained lien & returns to inventoryEnsure all equipment is maintained in good working order in order to maximize efficiencyReport any maintenance issues to Housekeeping Manager and completes MaintenanceReport any shortage of dry-cleaning materials to the appropriate OfficerMaintain a clean and safe laundry area at all timesConduct daily cleaning of all laundry machinesProvide a weekly & monthly chemical inventory to Housekeeping ManagerAssist in monthly inventory count including discarded itemsAnd any other assignment from the management.
