TLC Transportation, a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation company, is seeking a motivated and experienced Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching our fleet of approximately 68 vehicles. Our services primarily cover Nassau and Suffolk counties, with occasional trips to other areas such as Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, or the Bronx. Familiarity with the roads, highways throughout Long Island is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers to transport patients from their homes to hospitals, doctor offices, and other medical facilities.
• Utilize modern cell phones and phone apps to communicate with drivers and provide them with their start times.
• Think quickly and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely and efficient transportation of clients.
• Uphold our Door thru Door service standards, ensuring passengers are safely escorted from the threshold of their front door and back.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of the roads and highways in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
• Motivated, focused, and a team player who can handle a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly.
• Professional appearance and clear verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to commute to our office in Holtsville, NY, Monday through Friday.
