<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><ul><li>We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Work Engineer / Earthen Infrastructure Manager to oversee the construction, maintenance, and management of earthen dykes, dams, irrigation facilities, and laterite/dirt roads. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in civil work related to earthen infrastructure and will be responsible for managing a team to ensure effective and efficient deployment of resources.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the construction and rebuilding of earthen dykes, dams, irrigation facilities, and laterite/dirt roads.</li><li>Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures SOPs for the upkeep and maintenance of dykes, irrigation facilities, and roads.</li><li>Ensure adherence to SOPs for the upkeep and maintenance of earthen infrastructure.</li><li>Formulate and adopt SOPs for flood arresting and protection measures.</li><li>Prepare and monitor the annual budget for all land development activities and projects as planned by management.</li><li>Ensure effective and efficient use and management of all earth-moving machinery, such as excavators and compactors.</li><li>Manage and oversee the entire earthen infrastructure team, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience and Competencies Required:</strong></p><ul><li>4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in civil work related to earthen dam/dyke construction, maintenance, and rebuilding, as well as laterite/earthen road work and irrigation canal maintenance.</li><li>Strong experience in handling earth-moving machinery such as excavators and compactors.</li><li>A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in civil work related to earthen dykes/dams, laterite/dirt roads, or irrigation canals.</li></ul>
