<p><strong>Job Responsibility</strong></p><ul><li>&nbsp;We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance &amp; Administrative Assistant to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient financial management and administrative operations of a reputable legal practice.</li><li>The Finance &amp; Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance and Firm Support Department.</li><li>The successful candidate will be responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with administrative tasks.</li><li>This position requires a proactive individual with strong bookkeeping skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Financial Support:</p><ul><li>Process payments and manage invoices.</li><li>Enter financial transactions into the accounting system.</li><li>Keep records of financial activities and ensure proper documentation.</li><li>Help prepare monthly financial reports and summaries.</li><li>Support the Finance Manager with tax filings and audits.</li></ul><p>Bank Reconciliation &amp; Reporting:</p><ul><li>Reconcile bank and client accounts each month.</li><li>Prepare reports on any discrepancies found during reconciliations.</li><li>Update records for cash advances and other financial transactions.</li></ul><p>Administrative Assistance:</p><ul><li>Assist with office inventory, procurement, and managing company vehicles.</li><li>Provide general support to the Finance and Practice Managers.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of financial and personal data.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Education &amp; Experience:</p><ul><li>ND or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.</li></ul><p>Skills:</p><ul><li>Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.</li><li>Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.</li><li>Good communication skills.</li></ul>
