Position Summary
We have an immediate opening for a Business Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and improving business processes and procedures, aligning them with business goals through clear requirements and stakeholder engagement.
To be successful, you’ll need to be detail-oriented and initiative-taking. We need a broad thinker who can make suggestions, take constructive feedback with a good attitude and without pushback, and then go out and personally execute with diligence. If you are adept at identifying innovative solutions and optimizing business practices with strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, we’re probably a good fit.
This position is full-time and remote.
Job Duties
- Serve all stakeholders with integrity, humility, and joy while consistently modeling the importance of both task competency and relationships;
- Participate in Company events, activities, and meetings with a smile and an infectious, great attitude;
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements to develop solutions;
- Identify and assess current processes to find areas of improvement and optimizations;
- Facilitate improvements in procedures, workflows, and processes;
- Improve business operational efficiency;
- Conduct process-mapping, root-cause analysis, and workshop to gather requirements and assess current processes;
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements using user stories, diagrams, and requirement specifications;
- Validate business requirements through testing and analysis to ensure proposed solutions meet documented needs and quality standards;
- Continuously engage stakeholders and teams to ensure processes align with improvements;
- Support the creation of business rules through defined process and procedure that are in alignment with company goals and objectives;
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical requirements to achieve project goals;
- Prepare and present outcomes to stakeholders and leaders across the business; and
- All other duties as assigned.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to consistently lead and serve others with humility, kindness, empathy, and joy;
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau);
- Familiarity with business process management (BPM) tools, CRM systems, and ERP platforms;
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana);
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills; and
- Strict attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field required;
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in business analytics, information management, or operations;
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile frameworks preferred;
- Proven track record in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and implementing successful solutions;
- Experience in the education industry preferred;
- Experience with Mac OS and Google Workspace products preferred;
- Private, distraction-free, professional remote work environment with high-speed internet; and
- Ability to pass required background checks.
