<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Organizes, directs, and monitors the daily activities of the Receptionist</li><li>Must be able to complete all of the duties and responsibilities of the hotel Receptionist.</li><li>Monitors and maintains the front desk area.</li><li>Review the daily room availability and inform all appropriate staff.</li><li>Ensures Outstanding customer care at all times.</li><li>Accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations.</li><li>Reviews status of departures on a daily basis; relays all pertinent information to front desk agents and other appropriate staff.</li><li>Ensures all necessary reports and forms are completed daily.</li><li>Consistently resolves guest problems and complaints in an efficient manner while demonstrating a sense of urgency.</li><li>Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns in a timely fashion</li><li>Supervises daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures and are friendly and attentive to guest needs and service.</li><li>Cross checks all billing instructions are correctly updated</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.</li><li>Ensures Front desk log book and hotel log book are always updated and acted upon.</li><li>Ensures safety by following guest check-in and security procedures and reporting suspicious activity to Shift Supervisor, Manager or GM.</li><li>Takes responsibility in the absence of the Hotel Manager and Assistant Hotel Manager.</li><li>Prepares and coordinates schedules, and expedites workflow.</li><li>Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of hotel services, facilities, policies, and room rates and area attractions.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Applicant possesses a minimum of B.Sc from any of the Nigeria-recognized Universities and any related professional course will be an added advantage.</li><li>Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a 4-star hotel environment.</li><li>Must have a very good knowledge of hotel reservations software like Active 360 / BioDus.</li><li>Must be smart, Confident and good-looking</li><li>Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office</li><li>Must be flexible to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Must be able to work in a team environment.</li><li>Must have excellent interpersonal people and coaching skills</li><li>Must have excellent communication skills.</li><li>Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude even under high pressure.</li><li>Excellent organizational and multitasking skills</li><li>Professional attitude and appearance.</li><li>Candidates should reside within the Akute, Agege, Ogba, Ikeja, Ojodu, and Iyana Ipaja axis.</li></ul>
