ResponsibilitiesClinical assessment of patients; pre and post consultationEnsure that there are detailed notes in medical records including proper documentation of reports, where appropriate.Taking full responsibility for patients under your careReceiving, examining and filtering patientsProvision of quality emergency medical care serviceManagement and treatment of general illnesses/diseasesReferral of patients for specialized treatment where necessaryPerforming duties assigned by Medical Specialists and ConsultantsDoing calls and attending outpatient clinics in their respective departmentsAssisting Specialists and Consultants in performing routine and specialized proceduresParticipating in continuous medical education, seminars, workshops and conferenceProviding health education and control measures for preventable diseases and injuriesCarrying out and implementing research projects in collaboration with medical specialistsEffective supervision, training and development of staffAnd to carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time (including acting as operating officer) and at the discretion of the Chief Medical Director/ Hospital Manager.RequirementsCandidates should possess a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBBS / MBChB) with 1 - 4 years experience.
