Full Job Description
<p><strong>Job Objective:</strong></p><ul><li>The Financial Director shall plan, direct, and coordinate accounting, investing, securities, return on investment and other financial activities for the Company.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and monitor the budget for the Company</li><li>Track and monitor expenses during the planning and execution phases of the Company's capital projects</li><li>Liaise with relevant stakeholders to understand financial challenges and propose possible solutions</li><li>Develop a financial model for capital recovery</li><li>Contribute to the strategic execution of the Company’s capital projects</li><li>Oversee the flow of cash or financial instruments</li><li>Evaluate data pertaining to costs to plan budgets</li><li>Prepare financial or regulatory reports required by laws, regulations, or boards of directors</li><li>Prepare operational or risk reports for management analysis.</li></ul><p><strong>Job Specification</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Professional experience in the finance or accounting field, preferably within the public sector.</li><li>Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.</li><li>Proven experience in budgeting and financial planning.</li><li>Proven experience in corporate finance</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Exceptional communication skills written and verbal with the ability to convey complex issues in a simple and compelling manner.</li><li>Ability to identify and assess risks that could impact the company's ability to meet its financial goals</li><li>Proficiency in popular accounting software</li></ul><p><strong>Personal Attributes:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong initiative, creativity, and a solutions-oriented mindset.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities effectively.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and an ability to maintain high standards of quality.</li><li>A passion for public service and a commitment to transparency.</li></ul>
