Job DescriptionThe Director of Works is a management position in the University and he/she is responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-to-day administration and management of the Works Department.QualificationsCandidates must possess a good Bachelor's Degree/Higher National Diploma (not below Second Class, Lower Division) in any of the following: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Building Technology from a recognized University/Polytechnic.Candidates must be a registered member of COREN, MNSE, CORBON with NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption with a minimum of fifteen (15) years post-qualification/cognate experience, five (5) of which must be as Deputy Director of Works or equivalent post in a university system.Possession of a higher degree in relevant field will be an added advantage.Candidates must be computer literate with knowledge in relevant packages.Salary GradeCONTISS 15Condition of ServiceThe successful candidates shall hold office for a single term of five (5) years only on such terms and conditions applicable to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State and as may be determined by the appropriate University Rules and the University Governing Council.
