Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Officer to manage our financial transactions, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management, sales, and marketing teams.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN) is an added advantage.1 -3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a media or related industry.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Candidate should reside around the Garki axis of Abuja.
