<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>Senior Logistics Executive, will manage the movement, storage, and distribution of goods. he/she will oversee and coordinate transportation, optimize routes, and ensure timely delivery. Their role includes managing inventory, leading logistics teams, and solving supply chain issues efficiently.</p><p><strong>Job Details</strong></p><ol><li><strong>Manage Supply Chain Operations:</strong> Oversee and streamline the end-to-end logistics process, from procurement to delivery.</li><li><strong>Coordinate Transportation:</strong> Ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods, including route optimization and carrier management.</li><li><strong>Inventory Management:</strong> Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and ensure timely restocking to meet demand.</li><li><strong>Team Leadership:</strong> Lead and supervise logistics teams, ensuring smooth operation and performance.</li><li><strong>Vendor &amp; Supplier Relations:</strong> Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality control.</li><li><strong>Process Improvement:</strong> Identify and implement strategies to improve logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and resolve any operational challenges.</li><li><strong>Compliance &amp; Reporting:</strong> Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies while maintaining accurate records and performance metrics.</li><li><strong>Problem-Solving:</strong> Address and resolve logistics issues such as delays, shortages, or damage to goods.</li></ol><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ol><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree/HND in Logistics, Supply Chain, transportation, or a related field&nbsp;</li><li>5-8+ years Solid knowledge in logistics or fleet management within the FMCG &nbsp;industry</li><li>Advanced computer software skills, SAP, Excel&nbsp;</li><li>Strong combination of technical, leadership, written &amp; oral communication, team collaboration and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Knowledge of road safety, traffic regulations, and incident management.</li><li>Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Residing in or willing to relocate to Onitsha</li></ol>
