ResponsibilitiesThe job responsibilities for this role for this role include:Check-in and check-out guests to the company standards.Advise guests on room features / utilities / local amenitiesProvide excellent customer service at all times and deal with all calls & emails efficiently and effectively.Liaise with all Managers on any issues and concerns.Inputting high volume reservations correctly and noting any special requests.Promoting and upselling the property’s facilities – be a brand ambassador for the property.Ensuring billing is correctly carried out to the hotel standardsMaking bookings and cancellations, usually by phone, email or face-to-face and recording the information on computeranswering questions about hotel facilities and about local transport, places of interest and entertainmentusing sales skills to promote additional hotel services and facilitiesdealing with special requests, such as room service, taxi bookings or wake-up callspassing on messages to guests and taking mail for postingpassing on any guests' problems to the appropriate member of staffGreet, welcome, and check in new guestsInform guests of policies during the check-in processVerify guests’ payment methodsDeliver room keys, give guests directions to their roomsMaintain records of guest room bookingscompute guests’ bills and post chargesAccommodate guests with extra pillows, cots, toiletriesSend messages to guestsCreate incident reports, daily activity logs, or other documents requested by managementBook and schedule conference roomsHelp with administrative and clerical tasks as neededMaintain a positive attitude at all timesHelp guests access the internet and WIFIEnforce hotel rules and regulationsAlert management of any wrongdoing or guest misconductReport emergencies to the authoritiesKeep an orderly front desk and reception areaAny other assignment.RequirementsA receptionist who is very experienced in front desk roles in a hotel.The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the role and must also possess a minimum of OND in any relevant field
