Key Challenges:Marketing Coordination & ActivitiesEnsure that the pan-African implementation of product marketing align with strategy and focusCollect and utilize feedback from regions to improve local marketing approaches, maintaining relevance to market dynamicsCoordinate business planning for assigned portfoliosApprove regional marketing materials on Brandbox or similar platformsAct as a key communication and collaboration partner to global product leadersDevelop digital marketing strategies with global and regional experts and manage digital campaigns and platformsManage social media activities through approved agenciesCollaborate with sub-chapter product managers to ensure digital activities support NPC objectives and marketing plansProduct StrategyContribute to developing the product marketing planGenerate and implement new business concepts to support and grow product salesRespond promptly to market dynamics by tracking trends and identifying risks and opportunitiesAchieve targeted product positioning, life cycle, pricing, promotional, and profitability strategiesProduct Communication and ImplementationDisperse product-specific information to internal and external stakeholders to support business processesImplement training on product-specific information and track rollout and feedbackCoordinate internal knowledge sharing and notification on product issues or developmentsManage marketing, promotional, and pricing-related issues for each productProvide marketing support and advice to the Sales department to achieve sales targetsMaintain accurate understanding and knowledge of market trends and competitor activitiesMonitor the effectiveness of the marketing plan and achievement of sales targetsImplement product tactics in conjunction with the Sales teamsManage the Advertising Agency by providing product information, defining deadlines, and coordinating deliverablesTrack the effectiveness of marketing plan implementation through customer feedback evaluationsDraft monthly reports by collecting and submitting required informationDemand PlanningCoordinate and liaise with various departments (Medical, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Finance, Technical) for ongoing life cycle product management (e.g., forecasting, phase in/phase out, evaluations)Manage demand planning for products by reviewing stock levels, preparing forecasts, and communicating with stakeholders monthly and quarterlyAddress bottlenecks and stock-outs by reviewing reports, engaging with global teams, identifying solutions, and implementing them with relevant stakeholders weeklyStakeholder Management and Cross Functional EngagementServe as the commercial contact and liaison for Roche Diagnostics with the international Roche group on product-specific aspects and market/competitor trendsAddress stakeholder queries and complaints related to specific products by coordinating with relevant departments and providing timely feedbackBuild and maintain a network of brand advocates through identification, development, education, discussion groups, and supportive relationshipsMaintain strong internal relationships with relevant departments to support overall product objectivesCollaborate with commercial networks, chapters, and the near patient care sub-chapter to drive medical marketing and access initiatives aligned with the overall Roche Africa strategyLegal & Compliance:Manage the full compliance and support of the corporate culture and ethics of all product management activities by maintaining expertise, abiding with compliance requirements, managing compliance and communicating legal and compliance requirements at all timesWho you are as our ideal candidate:You hold a Degree in Pharma, Life Sciences or similarYou have at least 4-6 years’ experience in commercial Pharma / Diagnostic / Life Sciences rolesYou have demonstrated knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry, Marketing, Product Strategy and SalesYou are able and willing to travel both nationally and internationally
