<p><strong><strong>Job Summary</strong></strong></p><ul><li>We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our team on a 6-month contract.</li><li>The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, be computer literate, and proficient in using simple accounting tools.</li><li>The candidate should be smart, proactive, and able to resume immediately.</li></ul><p><strong><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.</li><li>Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.</li><li>Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations and verify account balances.</li><li>Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.</li><li>Process and reconcile general ledger entries.</li><li>Manage petty cash and ensure appropriate documentation.</li><li>Provide assistance in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.</li><li>Handle ad-hoc accounting tasks and reports as required by management.</li><li>Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.</li></ul><p><strong><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s Degree / HND</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.</li><li>Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Excel, Word, etc..</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.</li><li>Must be smart, proactive, and able to adapt quickly to new systems.</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.</li><li>Must be available to resume immediately.</li></ul>
