<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><ul><li>The Territory Sales Engineer will manage the business activities of an assigned territory and ensure that sales targets are achieved.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for achieving a defined sales quota at both current and prospective customers in the designated territory</li><li>Achieve activities-based business objectives including customer visits, new customer acquisition and new product introduction</li><li>Prospect for new sales opportunities via cold and warm leads, cultivate sales leads, schedule customer site visits with the goal of ultimately obtaining a purchase order</li><li>Capture competitive data and continuously update other project details in CRM system</li><li>Assist at trade shows and other marketing events to generate qualified leads</li><li>Apply market and account skills necessary for dealing with specific, high-level target customers.</li><li>Identify and develop account penetration strategies.</li><li>Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through in-depth knowledge of customer's organization, increasing account dedication, timely communication, and follow up.</li><li>Execute local sales plans short, mid, long term in line with SBU strategy to maintain and develop existing business.</li><li>Provide input to Manager on customer needs, business trends, competitive situations in territory.</li><li>Conduct onsite seminars and train customers on products and services as well as standards and procedures.</li><li>Key in-house contact for customer sales inquiries and technical concerns.</li><li>Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production</li><li>Analyzing sales and marketing data to determine the most effective sales and marketing techniques.</li><li>Ensuring that brand awareness within an assigned territory meets company expectations.</li><li>Monitoring and sensitive to competitors’ sales activities within an assigned territory.</li><li>Prepare and submit reports to the Managing Director.</li></ul><p><strong>Educational Qualifications & Skills</strong></p><ul><li>BSc/BA/B.Eng. in Civil Engineering, Architect, Building Engineering, or related fields</li><li>Must have 5-8 years of experience.</li><li>Proven experience as a Territory Sales Engineer</li><li>A registered Engr/Architect would be an added advantage.</li><li>Must be familiar with Façade, Steel Fixing, Solar, Building, and civil construction industry.</li><li>Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Ready to spend 75% on the field</li></ul>
