<p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><ul><li>We are seeking a highly skilled QuickBooks Online QBO Specialist to join our team.</li><li>The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong technical skills, and the ability to effectively manage client accounts.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Account Setup and Maintenance:</p><ul><li>Set up new QBO accounts for clients, ensuring accurate chart of accounts, item lists, and other essential settings.</li><li>Maintain and update client accounts, including adding/removing users, adjusting settings, and resolving any issues.</li></ul><p>Data Entry and Reconciliation:</p><ul><li>Accurately enter financial transactions into QBO, including bank feeds, credit card transactions, and journal entries.</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other general ledger accounts.</li></ul><p>Reporting and Analysis:</p><ul><li>Generate customized reports to meet client needs, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.</li><li>Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.</li></ul><p>Client Support:</p><ul><li>Provide excellent customer service to clients, answering questions, resolving issues, and training them on QBO features.</li><li>Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally.</li></ul><p>Stay Updated:</p><ul><li>Stay current with the latest QBO features, updates, and best practices.</li><li>Attend training sessions and webinars to maintain expertise.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a QuickBooks Online Specialist or similar role.</li><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.</li><li>Proficiency in QBO, including advanced features and customization.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Certification in QuickBooks Online.</li><li>Experience with other accounting software e.g., Xero, Sage.</li><li>Knowledge of industry-specific accounting requirements.</li><li>If you&#39;re a detail-oriented individual with a passion for accounting and technology, we encourage you to apply.</li><li>Sources and related content</li></ul>
