Job DescriptionThe Director of Procurement is the Head of the Procurement Unit, responsible to the Vice Chancellor who is the Chief Accounting Officer for the handling of all Procurement matters in the University and the day-to-day activities of the Procurement Unit.QualificationsThe candidate must possess a good Bachelor's Degree (not below second class, lower division) in any of the following: Purchasing and Supply, Management, Accounting, Economics or Marketing.He/she must be a registered member of ICAN, ANAN, or any other relevant regulatory bodies with NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption from NYSC, with minimum of fifteen (15) years post-qualifications experience five (5) of which must be as Deputy Director of Audit or Deputy Director of Procurement or equivalent post in a university system.Possession of a Higher Degree in relevant field will be an added advantage.iv. Candidates must be Computer literate with knowledge in rel evant Computer packages.Salary GradeCONTISS 15Condition of ServiceThe successful candidates shall hold office for a single term of five (5) years only on such terms and conditions applicable to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State and as may be determined by the appropriate University Rules and the University Governing Council.
