Full Job Description
Role OverviewOversees the strategic and operational direction of AODI, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and long-term vision.Manages relationships with the Board of Trustees and provides leadership to all departments.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership to the organization.Oversee strategy development and implementation.Ensure organizational compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.Engage with funders and key stakeholders to ensure sustainable funding.Report to the Board of Trustees on progress and outcomes.Key InteractionsCollaborates with the Board of Trustees on governance and strategy.Works closely with the Program Manager, Development & Partnership Manager, and other department leads.Engages with external partners, funders, and stakeholders to secure resources and opportunities.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, strategy, or management roles.Proven track record in fundraising, partnership management, and organizational leadership.Strong understanding of nonprofit governance, including Board relations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in public speaking and stakeholder engagement.Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.Experience in overseeing financial management and budget planning.
