<p><strong>Responsibilities of the Role</strong></p><ul><li>Work with an awesome geographically distributed team of developers and product designers timplement the next generation of products and/or features</li><li>Work independently and collaborate on projects developing applications/features from scratch</li><li>Build applications that can scale millions of transactions/requests per day</li><li>Develop highly maintainable software iteratively and deliver working code with each iteration, including authoring relevant documentation and test cases</li><li>Apply best software development practices tcoding software solutions</li></ul><p><strong>Be responsible for:</strong></p><ul><li>Implementing, debugging, and testing of new product features, or enhancements on existing features, or assisting customers and vendors with implementing and troubleshooting end-to-end solutions</li><li>Implementing a test-driven development using unit tests and integration tests in an Agile environment</li><li>Sustaining implemented features once delivered intproduction through maintenance and support</li><li>Accurate and detailed documentation of relevant design artefacts use cases, user stories, sequence diagrams etc</li><li>Working closely with key stakeholders particularly with team leads and software managers</li><li>Partake in architecture discussions, design recommendations and implementations</li><li>Adhere tpolicies and standards as applied by the team and directed by the reporting manager</li><li>Participate in supporting production releases as needed</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements of the Role</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifcations</strong></p><ul><li>Computer Science degree or equivalent diploma from a reputable school</li><li>Active participation in code and design reviews</li><li>Proven track record of working in relevant roles of 4 years or more</li><li>Proven industry experience in Financial or banking, or telecommunications is an advantage</li><li>Experience working in an Agile methodology an advantage</li><li>Strong communication skills with a team player attitude</li><li>Experience working with other integrated applications within the Clickatell ecosystem or</li><li>For success in this role, following are some desirable technical requirements:</li><li>Software development experience with HTML/CSS SCSS/JS, Angular, React, Redux, and Typescript</li><li>Have significant experience developing Enterprise Grade applications at scale</li><li>Experience writing unit tests with Jest, Cypress, etc</li><li>Experience with source code management tools such as Git, GitLab, etc</li><li>Experience with integration of data from various back-end services and databases</li><li>Experience with various dependency management tools Compose, bower, NPM, etc</li><li>Solid understanding of development lifecycle, wire-framing, UI/UX enhancements, communication</li><li>The professional will play a vital Web Application Development role where he/she will take the designs created and convert them tfunctional deliverables</li><li>Translate UI designs intwell-organized and structured HTML/CSS compatible with modern browsers and use open-source tools &amp; frameworks timprove the structure and maintainability of the front-end code</li><li>Have excellent technical documentation and communication skills</li><li>Texcel in this role, following are some nice-to-have technical requirements:</li><li>Experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra</li><li>Bonus points for experience working with WebSockets industry standard for real-time applications</li><li>Experience with DataDog for metric monitoring</li><li>Innovative and takes risks; not shy texperiment; does not follow the crowd and does what needs tbe done tsucceed</li><li>Works independently, with a high degree of responsibility and ownership</li><li>Passion for technology, attention tdetail, assertive nature and self-driven</li><li>Lives up tthe Clickatell values - Be Curious.
