<p><strong>JOB OBJECTIVES</strong></p><ul><li>The Business Development Executive is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient management of marketing activities and development opportunities for the company and to create value for the company, through the attainment of sales targets.</li></ul><p>Develop and foster good relationship between the company and its various external stakeholders in order to create a conducive atmosphere for company to operate.<br /><br /><strong>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Assist in generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business and achieving/assisting in the achievement of opportunity-based market shares.</li><li>Conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, webinar and in person.</li><li>Actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based on his/her interactions with prospects.</li><li>Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions.</li><li>Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients.</li><li>Prepare and submit proposals in acceptable formats, quality and timely.</li><li>Provide BD function support as may be required and instructed across the business entities within Amazon Energy Group.</li><li>Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.</li><li>Create and deliver qualified opportunities to other team members.</li><li>Maintain and expand the company’s database of project opportunities.</li><li>Ensure follow up by passing leads to appropriate team members with calls to action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.</li></ul><p><strong>E</strong><strong>ducation</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Social Sciences from a reputable University.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience and Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 5-7 years cognate experience preferably in business development and client management in the Oil and Gas sector.</li><li>Knowledge and experience in the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry is Required.</li><li>Ability to formulate Sales and Marketing Strategy.</li><li>Ability to draft Bids, Tender and Proposals.</li><li>Organizational and planning skills.</li><li>Problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.</li><li>Excellent reports writing and presentation skills.</li><li>Positive attitude and energetic drive.</li></ul>
