<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><ul><li>We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Officer to manage our financial transactions, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.</li><li>Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.</li><li>Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts.</li><li>Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.</li><li>Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.</li><li>Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management, sales, and marketing teams.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>Professional certification ACA, ACCA, ICAN is an added advantage.</li><li>1 -3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a media or related industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.</li><li>Proficient in accounting software e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</li><li>Candidate should reside around the Garki axis of Abuja.</li></ul>
