<p><strong>Roles and responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>The engineer is directly responsible and accountable to the pilot for supervision and management of all technical and related equipments on board the vessel.</li><li>Participate to safety of crew and personnel particularly within the engine compartment and protection of the environment</li><li>Conduct inspection and maintenance of main engines, propulsion and machinery systems, and safety equipments</li><li>Supervise bunkering, report and monitor fuel / oil consumption</li><li>Assist the Pilot on procurements</li><li>In charge of taking immediate corrective action in case of emergency situations fire, abandon-ship, man overboard, technical failures and providing a written report</li><li>The engineer has the responsibility of compliance, to follow /apply Bourbon policies and procedures at all times.</li><li>The engineer shall provide reliable operation of the vessel engines, machinery and all the equipment including propulsion system jets.</li><li>The engineer has the responsibility to know and apply the client procedures in his daily duties.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications, Skills And Experiences</strong></p><ul><li>OOW ENGINE NCV/UNLIMITED; STCW CERTIFICATIONS AS APPLICABLE</li><li>2 years or more as a Engine Officer or Surfer Engineer</li><li>Bourbon&#39;s employer value proposition</li></ul>
