<p><strong>Job description</strong></p><p>SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for ECP Project Manager to join its work force in Nigeria. </p><p><strong>Service Dimension:</strong></p><ul><li>Project Manager for the Permanent Gas Monitoring Project and possibly other ECP CFR projects/SMR from handover to close out. Ensuring effective and timely delivery of the Projects under its responsibility characterized by complexity of scope and interfaces</li><li>Develops and manages a Project organization to carry out works while respecting procedures, quality, HSE, and cost and schedule.</li><li>Manages relations with Partners and Contractors ensuring awareness of and compliance with HSE rules and regulations</li><li>Support all regulatory, statutory and permitting in relation with project matters</li></ul><p><strong>Activities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manages all project activities from engineering stage up to Site Integration works including procurement, contracting, fabrication and testing in accordance with project technical and quality requirement as well as budget and planning.<br />Directs and supervises the project team, ensuring that it works to its best potential to meet the stated requirements.</li><li>Ensures safe working practices are carried out within the project team and the various contractors at all stages and in particular observance of the Company HSE policy, rules and procedures.</li><li>Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of the Project Execution Plan, schedule, cost estimate, and budget for each project.</li><li>Collaborate with various COMPANY stakeholders FO, Maintenance, C&P, Logistics to ensure proper interface management regarding scope of work consolidation, contracting strategy, site activities, estimate, budget, etc., for each project.</li><li>Coordinate with relevant departments Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, C&P, subcontractors to communicate project requirements and ensure deliverables are met on schedule and within budget.</li><li>Measure and monitor project progress using standard project control methods, tools and KPI’s. Identify and address technical, commercial, or scheduling issues, and develop recovery plans as needed. Ensure proper internal reporting of project activities progress, issues etc. as well as timely preparation of approval dossier</li><li>Oversees the project contracting strategy execution and Contract/Purchase Order placement in accordance with Company Internal Procedures as well as Project Planning, Manages with its duet technical clarifications and negotiations with selected Contractor.</li><li>Develops & maintains constructive relationship with Partners and Contractors</li><li>Manages contractor’s activities from engineering to testing in conformity with contract reference documentation. Organize and chair necessary meetings with the contractors weekly, monthly meetings, variation order meetings etc.. Follows contractor sub-supplier control process and audits to make sure that project requirements have been properly transmitted to the sub-suppliers and are implemented.</li><li>Identify, monitor, and record project department KPIs.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum Qualification: University degree in an engineering discipline with over 10 years’ experience in industrial facilities projects management in particular for oil and gas production.</li><li>Experience: Exposure to medium or large-scale brownfield or Greenfield Projects in an international environment. International extractive energy industries as well as Electrical and Instrumentation background ICSS, Telecom is a plus.</li><li>Management: High standards of teamwork, technical rigor, communication, organization. Ability to work under pressure and stressing conditions. HSE consciousness, able to coordinate all related interfaces. Practical sense, autonomous, rigorous</li><li>Proficiency in use of Microsoft word, Excel and database management software e.g. MS Project, MS Access is an added advantage</li></ul>
